Welcome to Operation Blackout, a Command Prompt-based Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge! You are an elite cybersecurity operative trying to regain control of a compromised government network. A cybercriminal organization, Shadow Hydra, has infiltrated critical systems and deployed malware that could bring down the entire infrastructure.

Task 1 Introduction

Storyline
A nationwide cyberattack has brought government servers to their knees. Power grids are fluctuating, critical data has been locked down, and surveillance systems are offline. The Shadow Hydra hacker group has taken control of the mainframe and hidden encrypted messages within the system. Only someone with expert knowledge of Windows Command Prompt can decrypt their secrets and stop the cyberattack.
